The real estate company Wallenstam chose to install its third ClimateMachinesTM air handling unit.
This time to the Valand district in the middle of Avenyn in Gothenburg. Thanks to ClimateMachinesTM flexibility, Wallenstam was able to free up space and avoid extensive construction measures.

Wallenstam wanted to create a more attractive city district and has now renovated and adapted the property to be able to offer modern office space, shops and apartments on the attractive parade street Avenyn in Gothenburg.
After a good collaboration for about 4 years, with the replacement of two existing ventilation units to ClimateMachinesTM, where we had the opportunity to evaluate quality and energy outcomes, the choice to use ClimateMachinesTM for the Mid Avenue projects was natural. By bringing ClimateMachinesTM at an early stage, we were able to design the fan room together so that function and service were optimized.

Flexible site construction frees up space
In order to be able to make maximum use of the property's area and avoid extensive construction measures, the property owner wanted to find a flexible ventilation solution. Energy Machines worked closely with the customer at an early stage to create the best conditions for high comfort and low operating costs. The flexibility with a site-built ClimateMachinesTM creates a customized solution for the property's needs and available spaces in a flexible way.

Unbeatable effect compared to conventional technology
Thanks to the high temperature efficiency of 90%, we reduce energy costs by 80% compared to conventional technology. Humidification of the exhaust air creates the evaporative cooling effect and together with the high efficiency, the need for top cooling is dramatically reduced. This is because the supply air temperature can be kept down to about 20 degrees without finishing on the hottest summer days in Gothenburg.
The air handling unit is dimensioned for 16 m³ / second and serves retail space of 2900 m², office space of 4100 m² and 35 apartments.
