The Wallenstam real estate company chose to install its third ClimateMachines™ air treatment unit.
This time to the Valand neighborhood in the middle of Avenyn in Gothenburg. Thanks to ClimateMachines™ flexibility, Wallenstam was able to free up space and avoid extensive construction measures.
Wallenstam wanted to create a more attractive city district and has now renovated and adapted the property to offer modern office space, shops and apartments on the attractive main street Avenyn in Gothenburg.
After a good collaboration for about 4 years, with the replacement of two existing ventilation units to ClimateMachines™ , where we had the opportunity to evaluate quality and energy outcomes, the choice to use ClimateMachines™ for the Mid Avenue projects was natural. By bringing in ClimateMachinesTM at an early stage, we were able to design the fan room together so that function and service were optimized.

Flexible site construction frees up space
In order to make the most of the property's space and avoid extensive construction work, the property owner wanted to find a flexible ventilation solution. Energy Machines worked closely with the customer at an early stage to create the best conditions for high comfort and low operating costs. The flexibility of a site-built ClimateMachinesTM creates a customized solution for the property's needs and available spaces in a smooth manner.
Unbeatable effect compared to conventional technology
Thanks to the high temperature efficiency of 90%, we reduce energy costs by 80% compared to conventional technology. Humidification of the exhaust air creates the evaporative cooling effect and together with the high efficiency, the need for peak cooling is dramatically reduced. This is because the supply air temperature can be kept down to about 20 degrees without post-treatment on the hottest summer days in Gothenburg.
The air handling unit is designed for 16 m³/second and serves 2900 m² of retail space, 4100 m² of office space and 35 apartments.
